Dr. M. Bert Davis, Jr.
Dr. Bert graduated from Marianna High School in 1971. He completed pre-requisite courses at Chipola College before being accepted into Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After completing four years of training, he interned in Alabama. He joined his father, Dr. M. B. Davis, Sr., who began the practice in 1947, to form Davis Optometry Group, PA. Since then he has completed numerous post-graduate courses and regularly attends continuing education courses each year.
Dr. Bert's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and four wheeling.

"Doc" graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1947 after a stent in the Army Air Force. He joined the practice of Dr. Durwood Newberry in Marianna and shortly opened his own office adjoining a loan office. Soon a new office building was built on Jackson Street where he immediately moved to. He practiced there until 1991 when Davis Optometry Group, PA was formed and the practice moved to our 6,000 square foot facility on Jefferson Street. Doc continued to practice until he retired in 1997 having practiced 50 years.
Dr. Jeffrey K. Davis
Dr. Jeff graduated from Marianna High School in 1972. He then graduated from Chipola College in 1974 and the University of Florida in 1976. After one year of post-graduate work at Oral Roberts University, he attended Southern College of Optometry and graduated in 1981. He interned at the Memphis Health Center and the Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. In January of 1982, he joined his father and brother in practice here in Marianna. Since then he has completed numerous post-graduate courses and regularly attends continuing education courses. Dr. Jeff's hobbies include flying, motorcycling, snow skiing, water skiing and scuba diving.
